What is the dress code?

Please join us in semi-formal attire, perfect for toasting, dancing, and celebrating, and kindly leave the white outfits to the bride.

Can I bring a plus one?

We've thoughtfully planned our guest list, and all invited guests will be named on the invitation. We promise you'll have plenty of friendly faces to celebrate with.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you'll join us for a fun night out.

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Our entire celebration (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will take place at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse in Toronto, Ontario.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The celebration will be indoors, with a small outdoor space also available during cocktail hour.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Ceremony time will be confirmed closer to the date. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to get settled.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you put phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will be capturing plenty of beautiful moments, and once the ceremony ends, you're welcome to take photos during cocktail hour and the reception.

Where should I stay?

We have a room block at Chelsea Hotel in downtown Toronto at a discounted rate of $269/night, available on Friday and Saturday. Call 416-595-1975 and ask for the Genoe-Mackay Wedding Room Block. More info here.

When should I book the hotel by?

The Chelsea Hotel will not be holding any rooms for us, so guests are encouraged to book as soon as possible to guarantee a room at the discounted rate.

Will there be discounted rates for guests?

Yes, $269/night is available on Friday and Saturday through the Genoe-Mackay Wedding Room Block.

Where should I park at the venue?

There is a parking lot near the venue at 348 King St E.

How do I get to the venue?

Rideshare / Taxi: Route to "Enoch Turner Schoolhouse" or 106 Trinity St., Toronto (~20 minutes from Chelsea Hotel).

Transit from Chelsea Hotel: Take the Yonge Subway line South towards Union Station, getting off at King Station. Board an eastbound 504 Streetcar at the southeast corner of Yonge and King (~30 minutes total).

Is there a cocktail hour between the ceremony and the reception?

Yes! After the ceremony, we'll enjoy a cocktail hour with drinks and light bites before moving into the reception.

Will dinner be served?

Yes, a full dinner will be served during the reception, along with drinks and dessert.

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other special diet options?

Yes, there will be vegetarian, vegan, and many gluten-free options available.

Where can I indicate my dietary requirements?

Please indicate any dietary requirements on your RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar during the cocktail hour and after dinner.

Do you have a wedding registry?

No. Your presence is the only gift we're asking for. If you wish to give us a gift, a monetary contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. We'll share more details here soon.

What will the weather be like in Toronto in early October?

Early October in Toronto is usually mild, with average highs around 15°C and cooler evenings. Keep the season in mind when planning your wedding-day outfit.
